A revista inglesa, Museum & Society, acaba de publicar Sociology in Museums, um dossier especial que explora as intersecções entre a sociologia e os museus. Os editores deste dossier são Gordon Fyfe (Keele University), que é também co-editor da revista, e Paul Jones (Liverpool University). Sem surpresas, a obra The Love of Art ([1969] 1991) de Pierre Bourdieu e Alain Darbel continua a suscitar olhares e a desencadear interrogações à luz do séc. XXI.
Museum & Society é uma publicação electrónica da Universidade de Leicester. Afirma-se como revista interdisciplinar sobre museologia. Lançada em 2003, a responsabilidade da gestão da revista é partilha por 11 co-editores de várias universidades.
